In 1991, as a twenty-year old girl, I started up my debut in the historic rally. As a baptism of fire there is the famous rally: Ypres Historic Rally.

In 1992, I participated once more. To my big surprise, an amateur photographer addressed me with a picture of myself in full action in 1991.

Every time my brothers participated to other rally’s I was always present with my camera to shoot pictures. Sometimes I succeed in taking picture in full action which are worth it.

In that period we were still in the analogue age and digital age was still unknown, not to mention the medium internet which was hardly known.

I also made my entry on the circuit with a Ford Mustang 350 GT en drove in Francorchamps, Dijon and Le Mans… It was a pleasure that I could buy a picture 50/70 of myself in full action on Francorchamps.

In 2001 another discipline added : regularity. Six months after participation, I received a splendid book of photos of the happening in Morocco.

The next years I participated different events and caught myself doing something like buying pictures. The offer is restricted and the photos are only available some weeks later. Everything happens per post.

In January 2005, I decide to follow a course as photographer in Bruges. The course starts in September 2005 for which I even let go the participation to a magnificent rally. The first year is still analogue, the second year is the switch to digital medium.

I can rebuilt my camera from analogue to digital but don’t dispose of an autofocus. My biggest lens is 70-200 mm. In the second year,  I fell up my free tasks with pictures of motor sports. In the third year I once again fulfill a task with pictures of cars. The passion of

Photographer and cars and participant fell all at the same time for me.

March 2008 in order to celebrate my thirty seventh birthday, I buy myself a Nikon D3 with a 400 mm lens. The fist event taken …Ypres Historic Rally 2008. After a long day I came home with 800 digital pictures. And now ??

This site is only the beginning of a next great adventure and I hope that I will be able to offer you quite a lot of nice, sporty and exciting pictures full of action.
